your Travel Agent, Royal Caribbean, etc. You will be EXCLUDED

Can
I bring my bike on board?
Sorry, but only participating vendors and bike builders can bring bikes on board.
We
feel the experience of riding your bike on a Island
for such a short time is not worth the hassle and these are just some of the reasons.
A large
percentage of our rally participants are just getting
their bikes out of winter storage.
Those
living in winter areas could have serious weather related
problems to trailer or ride to and from Los Angeles, California.
Not to mention it could be costly and time consuming if you
do not live within a reasonable distance of the port and it
uses up more of your vacation days from work.
Those
few ships that do allow motorcycles on board are limited to
approx. 35 bikes, that is only 70 motorcycle
passengers. The other few thousand or so of our passengers
couldn't participate. On top of that there is a significant
extra charge for taking your bike aboard ship.
Then
there is securing your bike and moving your bike on and off
the ship. I can honestly say the only times our
bikes have ever been damaged is during shipping or transporting.
This has to be done at every port and again to and from the
port if you trailer. That's at least 10 chances of accidents
and damage.
Bike ride tours are escorted and only stopat
their recommended restaurants and shops. Speed limits are under 45 (second
gear), roads are narrow and in marginal condition and maybe
your riding buddy has a few to many Margaritas, and you're
not familiar with the riding groups different experience levels.
Your
shore time is totally consumed with your bike. Unloading,
loading, and being escorted. No
water sports, island adventures,
shopping, interactions with the locals. enjoying the beach,
etc. If you think your upset when it rains at a regular motorcycle
ride event, think of how you would feel after traveling all
this way and paying hundreds more to bring your bike.
Ship
leaves promptly at announced time. Can you imagine what would
happen if you had a breakdown or delay, traffic accident etc.
The ship waits for no-one. I doubt AAA would pick up the tow
bill.
Also
fuel is of poor quality and low octane on most Islands primarily
because they use scooters, small cars, or diesel powered trucks.
There's more but
the bottom line is the hassle and worry outweighs the fun.
FUN is what OUR rally is about!

Can
I get on this Rally Cruise if I don't own an American
made Bike?
At
our rallies FUN is #1! The slang term "hogs" applies
to all large, heavy, motorcycles, not one particular brand.
We
consider the bike word “Hog”, to be more of a
50’s & 60’s meaning. Currently
the majority of our passengers are Harley®
style riders, but Metric riders are gaining in numbers each
year. Besides, with the bikes at home you'll never know the
difference. Therefore, the word "hogs" has no connection
with Harley Owners Group and this rally is NOT sponsored by
Harley Davidson®
or H.O.G.® However,
H.O.G.® members
and Harley riders are present of course as they are at most
fun events. We like to think of this rally as a melting pot
of "Fun-Raisers" from all bike brands, clubs and
groups from all over the world.
Although
the majority of our passengers have no club affiliation, from
previous rallies we've had as many as 126 different clubs
and organizations from 48 states and both
coast of Canada, Alaska, Newfoundland, England, even soldiers
home from Iraq.

The rest of the time, we will be wearing jeans and t-shirts
even for dinner. No profanity on T-Shirts, please!
Oh Yeah! We do have one night for a different dress-up. 50's
& 60's night . Get down with yor bad
self and go back in the past (if you want) Oh, you'll see what real bikers
were like this night!
What
about dining?
We will only have one dining time for the Mexican Riviera rally, Second dining at 8:30pm. . Due to shore times, our HOHS scheduled events and the dining space on the ship it works very well if everyone is on the same schedule.

Are
children allowed?
Royal Caribbean does have terrific children
programs on the Mariner. However it is during the school year.
And they're probably won't be a lot
of children on board, because of the type of rally it is.
You make that choice!
